Review: Maybelline Color Show Lipstick

I purchased the shade Rock the Coral from BeautyMNL.com for P165 during their free shipping last 2 weeks. By the way they will have free shipping nationwide again Sept 30- Oct 2 so get ready. ^_^

I can't decide if I will be the Fuschia or Pink one but I ended up with Rock the Coral after searching for blog review images.

Packaging 

The outer case is made of plastic. It has a transparent seal so you customers can be sure others won't be able to use it before purchase.

The Ingredients

The ingredients included that are helpful for healthy lips are beeswax, sesame seed oil, tocopherol acetate and honey.

It is made in China.

The Lipstick

I think this Lipstick can lat 1-2 months even if used everyday.

The Shade

The color can be washed off easily on skin but cannot be easily washed off when on skin.

For me, the color is not so striking or catches attention which is good for everyday wear, It is just light or bright colored.

Since it is cream matte my lips still feels dry upon application. I sometimes apply lipbalm or petroleum jelly on my lips before I apply this Lipstick.

It does not have a strange smell.

When I brush my teeth there are still some left. After I eat there not much is removed. I re apply a little after eating.

LA Colors Liquid Eyeliner Review

It has a transparent film as seal so customers will not be able to use it in mall stands.

Ingredients

It is made from US.

The tip

It is fine and it is a brush. 

I like that is a brush and not a plastic tip. I also find it easy to maneuver or use. It is smudge proof but if you layer it like thrice then it will smudge.There are times I find it uneven when I look closely to the mirror so I need to put another layer.

Milea Mineral Finishing Powder Review

Packaging

It is made of transparent or clear glass.

Ingredients: Mica, Serecite, Titanium Dioxide, Magnesium Stearate and Zinc Oxide
Contents: 4g

It feels powdery on the hands but when you placed it on your skin it isn't rough. It is white and not that translucent.

It lasted for 2-2 and half hours only. I applied two layers.

Milea Lip Creme and Lip Balm

Milea Lip Cremes

I got the Barely Pink and Burgundy Sassy Lip Cremes.

The ingredients indicated are organic- Virgin coconut oil, Jojoba oil, Avocado oil, Shea butter, natural beeswax and Vitamin E.

The Barely Pink lip creme is more mentholated than the Burgundy one. It take about 5-10 minutes before you get used to the mint feel of the lip creme. The Barely Pink when you apply it doesn't even out well why the Burgundy is even. You will have to wait until the color evens out or improves a little. It is not a tint so the color goes off when you eat or drink.

 The look differs when you change the shade of the lips. I look pale in Barely Pink Lip Creme.

The Lip Creme also has other shades: copper, florentine rose, hot pink, passion orange, valentine and plum.

Lip Balm

I got the peppermint flavored lip balm.

It is colorless and mentholated. It's mint feel is not very strong which is a good thing.

The ingredients are also natural or organic so it is safe to use.

Other flavors of the lip balm are strawberry and cranberry. This product is P85 in their online store.

Tony Moly Magic Lip Tint review

Last 2 weeks a friend gave me this product and I decided to make a review about it.

The packaging looks cute. The product is in a glass container.

The back says manufacturing date is 2014 but you can research in the internet per product or brand name what is the expiration date after opening a product,

It is red but when you apply it to your skin and lips it is pinkish.

It has no shimmer but it is sticky to the lips and appears glossy. Since it is sticky I feel a little uncomfortable. It feels heavy on the lips.

When I wiped it off using petroleum jelly the color stayed there.

Everbilena Thick lash Mascara vs. Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara

 I searched for the two most low cost or cheapest Mascara in the drugstore. I found Everbilena Thick lash Mascara and Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara. Let's see the difference.

This is how my eye/s look like without mascara.

Everbilena Thick Lash Mascara

I bought it in Mercury Drug for less than P150. It is travel size.

I curled my lashes first. I had to do 5 to 10 strokes before it is quite obvious that I put on Mascara on my lashes.

Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara

I bought it in Savemore for only P199.

I had to do only 2 strokes then the Mascara is obvious already.

For me the winner is Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara because of the ff:

1. Affordable - there is only a less than 100php difference in price
2. Curve part makes it easier to apply Mascara
3. Finer brush
4. Requires only few strokes
