I enjoyed cheering for UP Varsity Swim Team (UP VST) during the Season 82 swimming championships from October 17 to 20, 2019. UP VST members won many medals.
At the third day the women's team made a new UAAP record for 4x50 FR relay. Overall, the women's team won 1st runner up and the men's team won 3rd runner up. Regina Maria Castrillo won Rookie of the year award for the women's division.

There was a great display of sportsmanship. Other schools were also chanting the UP cheer. Drummers know other schools' beat/cheer. University of the East has no drummer so UP did the beat of their school. I hope every sport is like this, no trash talk among fans and schools.
Congratulations to all the swimmers. You did a great job! I hope those who got injured will have a fast recovery.

They have been winning medals for the past UAAP seasons. They are currently renting a pool to train once a day. They have many members so your support will go a long way.
