Review: Detail Make Over Bloom Matte Blush on

I purchased this blush on because I read reviews that the Detail Make Over blush in the blush and contour palette is good. I already have contour palettes and the palette is big so I decided to buy this hoping the fornula is the same.

It is contained in a box and the color name is at the upper right part of the box which is "Intimate" and also it is written at the middle of the blush case. The case has no mirror. The case is lightweight.

I bought it for only P180 and what I like about it is is matte. There are 3 or 4 more shades but this is is my favorite after swatching them all.

Since the formula is powder you need to put more product. Swirl your brush and do not tap only. This works well to people with fair skin. I had no irritations or pimples after using it.

In the future I most likely would buy the blush and contour palette to see if the formula are alike.

This book is my way of paying it forward. Through this book, I hope to help other mothers become successful in their own transitions. I hope to help many women notice the signs in their lives; and thus recognize that it’s time for them to transition to a new season,” Dumadag says.

“Through these personal anecdotes of mine, I hope to encourage other women to make a leap of faith into the life that they have been dreaming for themselves and for the ones they love,” she added.

My review about this book:

It is not only for mothers but for people who are freelancers, employees, want to start their businesses, has start up businesses, want to know more about time management or career/personal growth and single people who wants to get married in the future. It has many tips and stories that are very 'relatable' and helpful.

Freelancers who are also breadwinners can really relate to this as it is very challenging to make a home while earning especially if you do not have house helper. There are single professional nowadays that even if they are not married or have children they are like raising a family ie. they are the only ones who make enough earning for the family, problem solver, etc.

I was able to finish reading the book in 2 days. First day about 20% and the 80% I finished reading yesterday. I think you can also finish this in one sitting because it is like an anecdote and not a theory type of book where in you will have information overload. I enjoyed reading it.

It is very modern or timely because it also tackles about how to use the internet to get projects, strategies that will help freelancers, distractions from internet surfing, etc.
I love it when authors also share how they feel and their struggles because they are also humans. This book will help you take a break from a cyber world where in there is a requirement to be perfect, that people's image should be always happy and sharing feelings or struggles is not likeable. This book tackles reality and gives realistic tips.

I am happy that Ms. Teresa gave me a copy. Get yours too!

Review: Jocelyn Liquid Foundation

Ms. Charm of The Cool Mom's Shop (https://shopee.ph/charmille) sent me this liquid foundation. It is 50mL. It comes with a box. The pump bottle is made of glass and quite heavy.

I read the writings on the side of the box. The ingredients I like there were Collagen, Aloe Vera Extract and Snail Secretion Filtrate. I think these are very healthy for the skin.

I got shade 23 but they have a lighter shade which is 21 but it is for those with mestiza complexion.

I did a patch test on my arm and my skin didn't have rashes nor appeared reddish after.

I tried to apply it on my face using a damp sponge but the product moves away and won't stick on the stick. I tried it for the second time as a second layer hoping it would stick but it didn't. I used my fingers to apply it and it worked. It gave a medium coverage. Maybe a dry sponge or foundation brush will do. ^_^ I set it with loose powder and it gave a matte finish.

It doesn't smell like seafood or stingy. It is made in Korea. The expiry date indicated is on August 22 2020.

It is sold for only P250 and it hass 50ml so it is very sulit. Since it the glass bottle is big and heavy you might want to ransfer it to a travel size bottle.
