Glam Works Cold Wax

Going to the salon for waxing of legs might be expensive sometimes. I'm glad there are now options available that you can buy from the market. I tried Glam Works Cold Wax (Milk with Shea Butter). I got it from SM department store for only P99. I purchased it because I am afraid of damaging my skin if I use the wax that needs heating.

The Packaging

The inside of the box contains the squeeze bottle of the cold wax and waxing paper.

The Ingredients

The two main ingredients that attracted me to buy this is Milk and Shea Butter.

What is the benefit of having milk in this cold wax?
Milk has a unique ability to remove the oil-soluble impurities with the help of fat-soluble enzyme lipase, protein based impurities with the help of protease and dead skin cells with lactic acid.

What is the benefit of having Shea Butter?
Shea Butter has such a large healing fraction, in addition to moisturizing fraction, regular use of this natural cream can treat many skin problems, including blemishes, wrinkles, itching, sunburns, small skin wounds, eczema, skin allergies, insect bites, frost bite, and other skin conditions.(source: www.sheainstitute.com/asbi-library/21reasons/)

Directions for Use:

  • Place cold wax on skin.
  • Use a spatula to spread the cold wax.
  • Make it thick enough or not too thin.
  • Place waxing paper / bond paper on top of the wax.
  • Pull the paper against direction of hair growth.
  • For me bond paper was more effective.
  • Wash skin with water.

The sticky wax gets off easily with water.

Review: Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Conditioner

Last February I received a package from Procter and Gamble. It contains many gift certificates and a Pantene 3 Minute Miracle Anti Hair Fall Conditioner.

I first wrote a blog about it here. So now this post is about a review on the new conditioner.

I really like the packaging because it is attractive. It looks metallic and shiny. Aside from that the brand 3 Minute Miracle creates curiosity to customers and readers.

The ingredients are listed on the back.

The conditioner
The consistency of the conditioner is not so thick. It smells like a regular conditioner.

For me the effect was not that long lasting. After  half day, I need to put on a hair polish.
