Nacre Beauties' Perfect Hue Lip Stain Swatches

Nacre Beauties sent me all their shades of their Perfect hue lips stain. 💄👑 The lip stains are sealed so customers are assured they are not second hand. The picture above is after I removed the seals. Each container has 10ml of lip stain. Manufacturing date and expiration date are indicated. 

The ingredients are also indicated. Ingredients: Water, PPA, Triethanolamine, PDMs, C8H16O2, C6H5COONa, FD&C Colorant, FD & C flavor/scent.

On the upper part of each bottle is the expected color payoff. Shake the bottle well before applying the product. Most of their shades when applied on the lips are of orange to dark red shades.

They have thicker consistency than lip tints but they are not liquid lipsticks. It has better color payoff when swatched on the skin than on my lips. I think before application make sure you exfoliate your lips and then put many pressed powder on lips. It is advisable that after application (when the product is about to fully dry) pat tissue on the lips to remove the excess liquid product so that the color would show better. It tastes slightly sweet.

It is hard to remove it since it is a stain. I tried to remove it using Simple makeup remover and petroleum jelly. There is some color left until the next day.

Kissmark Lip and Cheek Tints and Velvet Tints by EPG Beauty Closet

EPG Beauty closet sent me a set of their lip  and cheek tints and velvet tints with their lash grower.

Lip tints

Shades available are Pink and Plum and in the Lip tint duo case are the shades. Peach, Dark Red. It is advisable to apply on dry lips. The taste is slightly sweet. They are pigmented especially when you use it as a blush. Two dots are enough and blend well on the cheeks using your beauty fingers.

Velvet Tints

Shades available are Sunshine, Peach, Dark Red and Pink Red. It is advisable to apply on smooth and dry lips. Be sure to exfoliate your lips before applying these. They are pigmented but they are of medium coverage because the consistency is not so creamy.

Each product has a transparent seal. I just wish that they can also list the ingredients as this is important to other customers.

Tinted Lip balms by Narcissa Organica PH

VanitybyQueenB and NarcissaOrganicaPH gave me a goodie box with tinted lip balms. I tried and here are my thoughts.

The lipbalm doesn't have a minty feel which i prefer. It is moisturising and pigmented. The coverage is medium and is lightweight on the lips. The shade Azalea needs to be reapplied thrice or more for the color to show. The rest of the shades are very easy to apply and my lips didn't feel any irritation. 😊  It is not eat-proof but that's understandable because this is a lip balm. It doesn't smell awful or it doesn't smell like medicine. It has natural ingredients that are good for the skin/lips. My favorite shade is carnation because it fits an everyday look.

Shades available: Rose, Azalea, Carnation and Peony

Contents: 0.12 grams

Ingredients: Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Unrefined Shea Butter, Virgin Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Iron Oxide, Lavender Oil and Vitamin E

The lip balm is in a goodie box with the following contents:

Castor Oil 100% pure cold pressed 
- promotes hair growth, lengthens eyelashes, thickes eyebrows, treats wrinkles, repairs split ends, heals acne.
Grapeseed Oil
- lightens skin, improves sin health, reduce the appearance of scars and acne, tightens pores.
Essential oils - Lavender, Tea Tree and Rosemary

Shea Butter (skin moisturizer)

E.L.F. matte lipstick

My auntie bought E.L.F. matte lipsticks when she went for a vacation in the US. For $10 the 4 lipsticks are already in a set or in a box. It is on sale. She asked me if I want one from the four lippies. I said I want the pinkish one because the set includes 2 red, one nude or skintone and one pinkish / violet.

So this is the one that I got.

It is an automatic lipstick. You need to twist or turn it for the product to show up. It is non drying to the lips. I did not feel any discomfort. It tastes slightly sweet. It is not a creamy lipstick but it is moisturizing. It is solid or hard. The finish is not very matte but it is not also glossy. It is pigmented when you apply to the lips. 

The color is darker in reality than in photos. It transfers a little to the glass when you drink water and the inner part of the lips lightens when you eat. It is more long lasting than regular lipsticks. Other regular lipsticks almost all the product will transfer on the glass.

Since it came with the set, its price is $2. It contains more than 2 inches of the product. The price is inexpensive yet the quality is good. Too bad there are no E.L.F. kiosks in the Philippines anymore and even before I haven’t seen this product displayed on their shelves.

L' Occitane Cherry Blossom Lip Balm

My student already owns an L' Occitane product. I don't own one yet..

It is colorless. It has a slight floral scent but you need to put the product near your nose so you can smell it. It is not sticky on the skin but I don't know how it feels when it is on the lips because I did not try it on my lips.

I am not into buying expensive products when it comes to colorless lip balms so maybe I will buy this in the future but not in my soon to buy list.

Fashion 21 All Day Matte Lipstick

Fashion 21 has affordable matte lipsticks. I bought them for P175 each at SM department store. This line is different from the Matte Permanent Lipstick. It comes with a box which is good because it will prevent customers from using it before you can use it. The lipstick case is not heavy. I think it is made of plastic and not metal. It contains 4 grams of product.

I bought the shades Sushi and Bronze because they are closer to the nude pink I am looking for. When applied on the skin or back of the hand it looks smooth. When I applied it on my lips it looks chappy or patchy. The patchiness is not obvious when you take a picture from afar. The patchy look is like the finish when you apply Maybelline color show lipstick.

Maybe in the future I will try their Permanent Matte lipsticks and also Features and Shades Luscious Matte Lipsticks.

Review: GlossPh Matte Liquid Lipstick

I purchased the Go Girl shade of GlossPh's matte liquid lipstick. The tube is made of glass. The label is very girly and catchy. The tube has no seal so I hope they can put a seal. Even clear tape would do. Written on the sticker is it contains 5mL. At the back the ingredients are listed on a clear sticker.

The tube is small since it only contains 5mL. It is indicated 24M which means the expiration is 24 months after opening the tube. The wand is made of thin plastic. The applicator is easy to use.

When you look at the color of the product while holding the tube you will think it is light pink. As I swatched it on my hand it appears pink then as it starts to dry it looks dark pink. Upon drying off completely it looks more of violet. Maybe it is because I am acidic.

The liquid lipstick feels tight on the lips or drying. I like liquid lipsticks that are lightweight. If you can tolerate the feel you can use it everyday but I would not use this to my makeup clients. I wish they can change their formula to a non drying and lightweight one.

I can see potential about this product because it is worth P200 only and it is locally made. It is very affordable. I hope they can improve the formulation. Even if the price goes higher but with improvements I would purchase it again.

Fenty Beauty Starlit Hyper-Glitz Lipstick Review

Beauty Plus Ph sent me this product and I tried it. By just reading the title I can imagine that it has lots of shimmer particles inside. The lipstick is inside a box. The case is stylish and multicolored. It is not the regular lipstick case that you see in malls. Maybe due to the name Starlit the color resembles the galaxy.

The lipstick when applied has a quite cold feeling that will linger about 5-10 seconds but it is not a burning or tingling sensation. It is a light coverage to you need to apply it twice. It is moisturizing and has large shimmer particles. It appears as very glossy. 

Honestly, I don't know which ocassion I can use this lipstick. I think I will use it with other lipsticks. I wish in the future I could have the Mattemoiselle.

Review: Nyx Epic Ink

I won this product in a raffle from a makeup workshop I attended. I am not fond of lip tints since for me it is very tedious to apply before I will be able to go out of the house. This product is very pigmented and transferproof.

It has a transparent seal so customers will be assured it is not second hand. The wand makes it easy to apply the tint. It is watery and not sticky on the lips. It does not have a thick consistency.

The shade that I got is Heartbreaker. It is dark and suitable for those with fair skin. The first time that I used it, I applied it directly on my lips and my lips hurt. When I applied powder on my lips before applying the product my lips don't hurt anymore. I don't know why or which ingredient caused a burning sensation.

This product is good but maybe it is not for me.

Review: Marks and Spencer Lipstick

This lipstick is just given to me by a relative during Christmas season 2017. The case has a transparent plastic seal. It makes me feel assured that it is brand new. Written on the seal is Made from UK and Hypoallergenic. I am not sure if this available here in the Philippines. 

The Shade is Tea Rose. It has medium to full coverage. It is a creamy lipstick. 

The color is nice but my lips feel like burning when I applied it. Maybe there is an ingredient I am not used to. There is no list of ingredients on the case. It is not transferproof. It is a regular bullet lipstick. 

Lip and Cheek Tint by XOXO TPS Skin

I received this Lip and Cheek Tint as a freebie in a makeup workshop I attended. It is slightly watery. It is pigmented and once it is dried it is transferproof. It is organic and FDA approved. I also like that it has an expiry date at the side of the label. It also has a plastic transparent seal. Most lip tints I see online have no seal. The taste is not so sweet and just slightly fruity.

Review: Nicole Cosmetics Lipstick

shades (from left): Confessions, Satisfaction, Cupid, Wonderwall, Ironic

The trend nowadays are organic products. This local brand of lipstick is one of them.

On the box the ingredients are listed and stated that it is cruelty free and made from natural ingredients

Packaging

Having a box prevents other customers to use the product before purchasing them. The box is very pretty and colorful. However the white lipstick sometimes goes off leaving the lipstick exposed. You can read the name of the shade at the bottom of the white case.

Lipstick

All of the shades are pigmented especially when you apply it on top of dry skin (no lip balm). It is semi matte/creamy matte, long lasting and light weight. After I ate, only a little part goes off. It is not transferproof.

My favorite shade is Cupid. I have only 5 shades. There are 3 shades that I lack (Vamp, Twisted and Hypnotize.

This sells for P500 per tube and is available in Beautymnl.com. Contents: 4g or 0.14 oz.

For me it is a good buy since it seems paraben free. It also have vitamin E. However it has Soybean seed extract so to those with Soybean allergy then you might to avoid this or if you want you may try this first on your hand than directly on the lips.

shade: Cupid

According the company's Instagram: Cupid is a good shade for fair people. Well my skin is not that fair but it fits me.
