Buy Wigs Online via Divatress

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post. All opinions are mine.

Hair is the crowning glory of ladies. People look at the face when having conversation. Thus, they cannot avoid looking at the hair. Also when walking the hair covers the head and is the first one seen by people.

When you are going attend a costume party, wigs are one of the things listed as important. When filming a product review, wigs are also needed so looks can be different for every video. During fashion shows, wigs also help create a more sophisticated look or help achieve the overall look.

If your profession is a beautician or hairstylist then you really need wigs.

Divatress is a leading online shop of wigs. Divatress came from the words diva meaning queen and tress meaning locks or hair. They offer thousands of black hair care products and brands. There are many different wigs available like synthetic, human hair, remy and human hair blend. There are also many lengths and colors to choose from.

I have selected three wigs that I like.

If you are curious if short hair would look nice to you without cutting your longhair then try this wig. It looks so chic and fab. This short wig is called Storm.

If you need cover your forehead or achieve a Korean look, this wig is highly recommended. This Outre Velvet  100% Remi Human Hair Wig –is called Adrianna. It is also available in Jet Black or Off Black.

I also like this Sensationnel Empress Lace Front Edge Wig called Emily. Sweeping the hair over to the side can help make you look younger. Bleaching the hair can hurt the scalp sometimes especially if your scalp is not healthy. Frequent hair coloring can also damage your hair. Achieving this contrast of colors is not easy. To save time, might as well buy wigs online.
Divatress also have a live support chat in their website. Aside from wigs, they also have hair products, beauty products. You can order Monday – Friday: 9:00am to 6:00pm (CST). You can also place your order over the phone. They accept all major credit cards. One of the good news is these wigs are free Shipping on orders above $45 (Continental U.S. only). They also have return and exchanges policy.

Review: Innisfree No-Sebum Mineral Powder

I bought this product from a Korean makeup online seller for P290.

Packaging:

It does not come in a box unlike the 3W clinic which has a red box. Well anyway the box is not essential anyway if the customers of a store are disciplined enough not to twist the lid to open the container.

The container is circular and mint green. It has a seal tape at the side. If the seal is broken it means it is not brand new.

It has a puff inside already. It is indicated that the powder will expire 24 months after the container is opened. There is also an expiration date.

Effect:

It is long lasting. It can last upto 3 hours. Once in a while I touch my face to check if the powder is still there and it is. You will not feel oily. It is also lightweight. However this powder makes your makeup lighter than the original one. It has a white cast so I cannot use it in photoshoots or occassions where in pictures will be taken.

I bought a 3W clinic powder for P250 and it has more contents than Innisfree but Innisfree powder lasts longer.

Pasta in Chowder

Pasta in Chowder is so affordable and comes in big serving. It is not only for one person. I shared Puttanesca with my mom at home but we were not able to finish it. It is good for 3 people. It's Italian style (not sweet). It is very delicious. 😍 You can watch them cook your food.

Visit Chowder in Raymundo gate UP Los Banos Laguna. The food stall is under the big white tent (Fat Yard)

Review: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

I bought this concealer for P230+. I searched for reviews before buying it and reviewers say it is effective. I chose the shade Medium or 25 which is 1 or 2 shades lighter than my skintone.

It has a plastic transparent seal so customers are assured no one swatched it before buying. It has a medium to full coverage. It is even when applied. It is lightweight and doesn't feel sticky. It doesn't have an unpleasant smell.

I just used a little amount under my eyes and it is effective in concealing. It is buildable. For pimple marks you can use it for spot concealing. It doesn't oxidize or get oily easily.

Without concealer

With concealer
I would say it is effective in hiding eyebags but I more curious if the Age rewind is more effective.

More info about the product from Maybelline.com

Review: 3W Clinic Powder

I bought the 3W clinic powder shade #21 because my Innisfree powder ran out. I wanted to try another Korean brand loose powder. It contains 30g and I bought it for P250.

Packaging

It has a box so you are assured that it cannot be opened quickly by other customers. It also has a seal inside the sifter. It contains a medium puff inside. It is bulky if you bring it everyday inside your bag so you need to transfer some amount in a smaller sifter.

Review

I thought it would look so white on my skin but once you spread it, it is like translucent. However, it is not long lasting after in less than an hour my face starts to get oily even if I am dry to normal skin. I also touch my face to feel if the product is still there. In less than an hour the powder goes off.

If you are using liquid foundation, it is better to put powder foundation then you can place this product on top. I would not recommend that you use it alone especially during hot weather.

It is lightweight and would not put a white cast in your selfies but I haven't tried it when using a camera with flash.

Freelancer Fair 2017: Spelling Out Freedom With Freelancing

What comes to mind when you think of Freelancing?  Do you see it as merely a sideline job or as what we Filipinos informally call ‘Raket’?  By common definition, Freelancing is when you are self-employed, by offering your skills and services to clients or businesses, without necessarily being bounded to a single employer or a long-term contract. If you haven’t dipped your toes in Freelancing, then perhaps now is the time to consider.
Did you know that according to Upwork, a leading global online jobs platform, the Philippines is the third highest - earning country in the world when it comes to freelancing? In fact, more than 1.4 million Filipinos are registered in the platform alone!

With the sheer power of that number, it only attests to an overwhelming number of individuals who have found their fulfillment and achieved their #Lifegoals in Freelancing. This is not to ignore that like any other profession or job, Freelancing does have its own unique struggles, but if you’re the kind of person who wishes to feel and be more empowered in one or in all aspects of your life, then allow us to sum up what Freelancing can give you: F-R-E-E-D-O-M.  And yes, we do intend to spell it out literally, by giving you our take of what that word means in the world of Freelancing.  So if you’re an aspiring freelancer or entrepreneur, or avoiding a potential bout of “FOMO”, then read on!

1)      F - lexibility and Autonomy

We live in the Digital Age, so it should come as no surprise the technologies that can allow us to work anytime and anywhere, and provide services to clients from anywhere in the globe! Say goodbye to long commutes and hello to telecommuting! Also, the nature of Freelancing can give you the flexibility and autonomy to work at your own pace and choose the clients and projects you want to work on.

2)      R – ewarding Career
Who says that Freelancing can’t be a career or profession? For many who have gone this route, it has paved way for them to pursue their dream jobs without the constraints of a fixed job description or the frustration of being stuck in a mundane ‘9-5’ office job. As a self-employed professional, you are fully empowered to pursue projects that would nurture your skills and passions.

3)      E – ndless possibilities
As a freelancer, there is no limit to the opportunities and possibilities you can pursue, now that you have full control of your career, profession and time. Whereas before, the most part of your day and energy would be spent in long energy-draining meetings and long commutes, Freelancing lets you color and fill each day with activities that you consider truly aligned in attaining your life goals.

4)      E – nables you to design your own lifestyle
Are you a night owl who is most productive in the evenings? Dreamed of having your own 4-Hour Work Week? Or what about getting down to finally working on that business plan for your dream start-up? With Freelancing, you can get creative on how you design your typical week, that would specially cater to your unique personality, interests and quirks.

5)      D – o things your way
Always had a need to be in full control of your work, surroundings and growth? Then Freelancing will definitely give you that! Being your own boss is one of the great perks of being a Freelancer, and that means getting things AND results done just the way you envisioned it.

6)      O – wn your time
Ever wondered how it would be like to respond to emails in your swimwear, with your toes brushing the sand as it points towards a breathtaking view of the beach? Well, in the Freelancing Handbook, you are free to take a vacation in the middle of the week, just as long as you get the job done and your clients happy. Becoming a Freelancer means taking full control of your time and schedule.

7)      M – ake room for the people and things that truly matter
And here’s the most important part. Freelancing enables you to spend more time with your family, and other things that truly make life meaningful. With Freelancing, it has paved way for the rise of thousands of hands-on mommies, who find fulfillment in being able to nurture both their families and careers. Whilst for many others, they found it in more time spent in pursuing volunteer work, or in endeavors which define their passions and values.

There you have it. That’s how you spell Freedom with Freelancing!
And if you’re itching to learn more about the boundless opportunities of being a Freelancer, then you’re in luck. This year, Manila Workshops, with the support of the Department of Information Communications and Technology (DICT), will be holding the 2nd Freelancer Fair on Sept. 2, 2017, to be held at the Bayanihan Center, Pioneer, Pasig City.  It is the country’s first and largest event for Freelancers, which would gather together freelancers, business owners and brands for a whole day of talks tackling the Freelancing Landscape and the different opportunities in store for both existing and aspiring freelancers.  The theme for this year’s full day event is Cultivating Relationships, as inspired by the mission to cultivate, nurture and help more people discover how Freelancing can help them achieve their professional and personal goals.

Skinaz Review: Lip Crayon Tint, Cats Eye Eyeliner, Stick Blusher

Skinaz sent me some Skinaz makeup products. Skinaz is a Korean brand.

Stick Blusher

The one they gave me is Baby Pink #1

The stick blush spread out evenly. It is a light pink but if you put more it would be bright pink. It doesn't have clumps. It is odorless.

Cats Eye Eyeliner

This is a liquid eyeliner with a glossy finish. It is easy to apply since it has a fine tip. The shade is Real Black. It smudge after 2-3 hours. It is odorless.

Lip crayon Tint

It has a glossy finish. It is not transfer proof. A tip I can give is to place translucent powder on top of it to minimize the shine. It is odorless. It glides smoothly and evenly. The shade is number 8 or Glam Red.

Below is my video of makeup demo and review of these products.
